My interest started for golf when I was 7 years old and I won my first tournament. However, I began playing golf when I was 6 years old and a friend of mine took me to a golf course to try it out and my parents saw the potential in me at that time. At the beginning it was hard to grasp all the bodily movements, however, little by little you get better and the most positive thing about golf is that even as a beginner you can still beat a better golfer because you have the handicap.

After I won my first tournament in 1999, my motivation for golf skyrocketed and I decided for myself that I will make some great achievements and become a professional golfer. I started reading books about golf and golf in Russia to understand who should I look up to and what measurable and attainable goals should I make for myself. 

That’s how I won my first major national junior tournament at the age of 9. 

Steadily I got better and better. I got into the national team at the age of 12 and became its junior captain at 14 and national captain at 16. The year I became 16 years old is the year when I won my first national championship and became the youngest player to win it. Consequently, the number of international tournaments rose and I traveled to many places such as Japan, Australia, China, USA, UK, and many European cities, as a result my World and European ranking rose. By the age of 17 I was in the top 500 World Amateur ranking and top 100 in the European Amateur ranking. After achieving most of my goals as an amateur, I had to readjust my goals in order to progress further and after finishing my bachelor degree at the age of 23 and being the captain of the national team for 7 years I decided to turn professional in order to evolve.

After I turned professional, I went to Germany and qualified myself for a professional tour. I got my card and started traveling Europe and played many tournaments.

My first year was very hard, since the pressure was much higher and the level of players drastically increased. I knew at that time that the training method I had was not enough and changed everything in order to get better. The second and third year produced better results. I got into some top 20 finishes and a few qualifiers and even played on the highest level of professional tour, the European Tour. On my third year of professional golf I also began teaching more frequently and my passion for teaching people began to evolve with the talent of seeing the ways of improving the golfers technique and psychology.

In 2018 I decided that besides playing golf professionally, I also want to teach and help people to know the game and enjoy it as much as I do and enrolled myself into the university in order to get a level B – Golf coach certificate. I believe that golf is a sport where you can constantly evolve, not only technically but also strategically and psychologically and still enjoy the game at every level you are at. 

This academy is designed for golfers of all skill levels, but is very intensive. Morozov Golf Academy features a package of lessons for a group of people from 5-12, who want to practice and play in a group. This gives the players to get a better understanding of golf and see step by step their own progress compared to other members of the group. The academy not only gives you, the player the chance to get better at it, but helps you socialize and enjoy the game of golf with other players, where at the end of the session they play a mini tournament between the groups and future members of the academy.
